At People's Food Co-op you won’t have an average shopping experience – we’re a great natural foods store and a center of the Ann Arbor community!

Store Daily:  9am-10pm Saturday:  8am-10pm Wednesday during Farmer’s Market season:  8am-10pm Café Verde Monday-Saturday:  7am-9:30pm Sunday:  9am-8pm Soup & Salad Bar Monday-Saturday:  9am-9pm Sunday:  9am-8pm Hot Bar Monday-Friday:  11am-2pm & 5pm-8pm Saturday:  11am-3pm   Sunday:  10am-1pm & 3pm-7pm Hours may vary during holidays and special occasions.

Here are some of the things that make us different:

Local – We support our local community by buying locally grown and locally produced goods when available. We feature seasonal local produce, and we support local farmers and businesses through preferential buying.

Organic – We support our environment by carrying organic items in all of our departments. The majority of our produce is organically grown, and we offer organic grocery, home and beauty care items.

Fresh – Our Fabulous Food Bar has super-fresh salad ingredients and hot-out-of-the-kitchen soups, sides and entrees. We get several weekly produce deliveries and carry a variety of fruits and veggies. Our café features many desserts made in our own kitchen.

Convenient – On the north side of downtown, we’re easy to reach by car, bus, bike, or on foot. We offer delicious prepared foods to go. At the co-op you can find almost everything you need!

Accommodating – Our friendly staff can help you find the things you need. We carry many foods for special dietary needs and healthy eating, including vegetarian, vegan, fruit juice-sweetened, and wheat- and dairy-free items. Need something we don’t have? Any cashier at the front of the store can help you place a special order.

Cooperative – Anyone can shop; anyone can join. PFC is owned by its members, who have a voice in how the co-op is run. Our café features a bulletin board for community events and services. You’ll find information on the products we carry in our reference library. Our Outreach & Education Department provides programs and support for our community. We’re so much more than a grocery store!
