Class Instructor Mini-biographies

Linda Diane Feldt is a student of the healing arts since 1973, Linda Diane has had a full time private practice in integrated holistic health care for more than two and a half decades. She is a Registered Polarity Practitioner, Registered Polarity Educator, Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, certified as a Nutritional Consultant, completed a two year apprenticeship with Susun S. Weed in herbology, and trained extensively in Cranialsacral Therapy for 25 years, as well as numerous other studies.

Dr. Diana Christoff Quinn is a Naturopathic physician specializing in women's health, endocrinology and chronic illness. She earned her doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine (Portland, OR) and carries a license in the state of Oregon. In her work, Naturopathic Women's Health Care, she provides in-depth assessment, and works with techniques including homeopathy, botanical medicine, therapeutic nutrition and lifestyle counseling.

Mary Light is director of Gaia Center for Herbal Studies and Natural Therapeutics, and has maintained a private practice in natural healing since 1992 as a traditional naturopath and medicinal herbalist.

Royer Held has gardened organically for over thirty years and has been teaching winter gardening classes for the past seven years. He and Marcella Trautman created the Project Grow Heirloom Garden project and have run it for the past three years. Royer says his strongest qualification is that gardening is in his blood!

Darren Schmidt, D.C., N.D. received his doctorate from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, and has been practicing in Ann Arbor since 2002. He has given over 100 lectures and workshops in the past five years, and has taped programs for Ann Arbor's Community Television Network.

Shannon Dicks, D.C. received her doctorate in 2002 from the Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. She has been practicing in Ann Arbor since 2005, integrating Nutritional Response Testing into her holistic approach to healing.

Yael Dolev is a food coach with more than twenty years of experience, in agronomy, nutrition, and ecology. Her mission: to teach how to sustain fun habits and simple techniques to enjoy eating delicious and nutritious meals that fit our daily routine. Rather than promoting diets, Yael teaches how to care for your body, understand what you eat, and shy away from extremism.

Meetings are usually held the third Thursday of the month at Menlon Innvations. The next meeting is on Thurday, May 21th, at 6:30pm at Menlo Innovations, 410 North Fourth Avenue, Third Floor, in the Kerrytown Shops.
